During the process of selling our home we encountered a problem with our A/C system. Because closing was fast approaching and we had already moved out of state, we called a friend who recommended Grayson. We needed a competent company to come out, diagnose the problem and offer a solution.
Grayson sent a service rep to our home that day. Lantz Waters called from the property. He explained the problem and offered several options to address the issues. I expressed concerns that the holiday weekend was upon us and would delay the sale of our home. Lantz said not to worry about that because he had a team free that could come now and be finished before sunset.
I got my house sold without any delays thanks to Lantz Waters and the team at Grayson Air conditioning. The cost was reasonable. Had I said in Mobile, Grayson would be my A/C company.

Grayson's crew just completed installing new duct work. They removed the old duct work and totally cleaned following the job. They also added new insulation. The base of one of the units needed to be replaced due to water damage. They took out the old unit, cleaned, and built a new base. They installed a 'halo" purifier on both units.
All of the guys were super nice and accommodating.

Ben Howell came out to service and clean my ac unit (inside and out) and was very professional. Bought the service plan so they can continue to come out and take care of it but also help to prepare in case any issues arise. Yall, let me tell you how AMAZING Grayson Air Conditioning is! I called and left a message with their 24 hour answering service at 5AM and received a call back within the hour! It’s the middle of the summer, and they were prepared to send a technician out THAT MORNING! Unfortunately I had to get to work and nobody would be here, so the technician, Ben, even coordinated with me on his way to my house that afternoon to make sure we’d be there at the same time! The customer service was absolutely top notch, and Ben got me up and running within MINUTES! In fact, he arrived a few minutes before me and I got there to the good news of a working AC! He answered ALL my questions informatively and gave me some great tips to improve the efficiency of our system in the summer! I’ll DEFINITELY be calling on them to redo all my duct work, thanks to his thorough and well explained suggestion after I inquired about it! Also got signed up on a maintenance plan thanks to him, which takes away so much stress off me to remember to call for a tune up. Thanks Ben and the rest at Grayson Air Conditioning for saving our summer!

Grayson Air Condition, Inc. just installed my new Heat Pump System. These guys are EXCEPTIONAL! No one wants to hear that their heat pump has pumped it's last pump, but after 25 yrs I can't complain. I am so glad I chose this company. I have to say THANKS Will for coming to my house and giving me all the pricing and choices I had. THANKS Chase for being understanding of how hard of a decision I had to make in purchasing a new heat pump and giving me other options I might could do but I also knew that it was off to the graveyard for this heat pump! Grayson is the BEST!! My parents (92 and 93) had no air, I called and Scott H called me back in just a few minutes. It was a Thursday evening after hours… He was at their home within the hour and diagnosed the problem. Something was broken and he didn’t have the part. He went to their shop and brought back, and set up, 2 A/C window units for them to use for the night. The very next day the installation crew was back at 8:15 to fix the A/C and take back the window units!! Awesome company!!! The crew were Daniel B, Ethan D and Keaten C. 7 pm on a Monday had an ac issue, and made a call. By 8:15 it was working and blowing cold. 1 hr and 15 min from call to completed service after hours! Doesn’t get better than that, and for a reasonable price! Lantz waters is the guy you want to come, super friendly - though I assume there are some other good ones too. Oh and ps, we live out of state, so all of this was done remotely. Fantastic!

EXCELLENT JOB. We had out upstairs unit replaced in 2018 under a Home Warranty plan. The two installers were a joke. Multiple recalls to fix poor installation, and here it is seven years later needing repaired. Grayson sent out a team of six men who were each experts in their own area. AMAZING TEAM. I am confident I will not need to call them back except for the biannual maintenance. The six men were Matthew, Bryce, Brad, Christian, Brandt & Chris P. They even cleaned up their mess. They deserve a bonus for doing exactly what they were supposed to do, but they even went way above what was required. They were polite (But none of them could beat me in ping pong--and I'm 73 years old. They were good sports). They can try again on the maintenance trip.

My 16 KW Generac generator was 20 years old. Service since 2013 by Grayson that kept it going well for all those years. Replaced with 18 kW generator from Grayson on. April 9. Bell and crew did a good job. However, on April 14, the battery went dead.. Grayson sent will who diagnosed failure of electrical control system. The replacement part was skillfully installed on four 2525 by Lanz Waters and he is working well. The glitch by the manufacturer was a pain, but diagnosis and service of the problem was excellent

Doug Cordelle came to do a spring cleaning and inspection of my HVAC system on March 6th. He was on time, courteous, professional, and thorough! He took the time to explain why I was losing coolant and said I needed a new air handler. He suggested I replace my heater as it is 16 years old so he lined up the electrician and the installers and gave me a price quote. They were able to do the job 3 days later which was compatible with my work schedule and I really appreciated it!!! I will post a separate review for their work.I'm not able to post a separate review so here goes: today Chris Glen, Dustin Payne, and Tyler Howell showed up to do the installation of my new air handler and heating system. They were also on time, courteous, professional, and thorough. They did an outstanding job and answered all of my questions which I really appreciate! Joey Pettis -the project manager, came by to inspect their work and he was great too! When they presented me with the invoice, it did not deviate from the estimate that Doug had given me which is awesome! I will continue to do business with Grayson and highly recommend this great group of professionals!!! It's a shame that you can't rate these technicians and installers higher than five stars because they all absolutely deserve it!!!!! Thumbs up to Morgan Knotts in customer service as well because she was great too!!!

April 22,2021We had a Honeywell Generator Installed in April of this year by Grayson Air Conditioning.The Office staff and Service personnel were all very professional and courteous.Thanks to Owner Peter Grayson for working up the Estimate and giving me advice and answering any questions I had on the installation process.Would like to Thank, Chris Motes and Travis Perry for doing an Excellent job on the InstallationOf the generator, while they were at my residence, I went ahead an purchased a yearly service agreement on my Air Conditioning system, so they were able to perform routine service and check to be sure everything was operating properly the same day.Also, would like to mention and thank Will Whiting who came out the following day to do the startup and check out the operation of the Generator, He took time to explain the functions and locations of everything on the generator, and answer any questions I had.I have had one follow up visit on the Honeywell generator, called the office at 2:00 p.m. spoke to Carolyn, said she had a technician who could be at my residence by 3:30 p.m., Service Technician Chase Deakle arrived right at 3:20 p.m. and corrected a minor problem and answered any questions I had.I would highly recommend Grayson Air Conditioning Company.Sincerely,gpmFeb.27th,2025,Had a service call on my Honeywell generator today. Artwork that nobody will ever see. Justin H, Cooper, and Brice cut no corners in implementation of the duct work. I don't know a ton about HVAC, but know what I'm looking at.... Don't buy a lesson, use these Grayson's.
Also worth mentioning that there was a small wear and tear issue with the outside unit, while the duct work was being buttoned up. Doug C came right out and fixed it.... and the duct work team stayed to ensure all was as it should be, post repair, before they left. Again, do not buy a lesson, just call Grayson's first!

Will and Tyler were excellent help today! They were quick to respond and a speedy service at a much more reasonable price. I called Graysons on a Thursday afternoon to see if they were able to work on our mini-split. They sent Scott Hopkins the very next morning, calling thirty minutes ahead. He was very courteous, respectful to my mom, home, and animals, and gave my mom an upfront diagnosis, options, estimates, and then thoroughly cleaned the unit. We will have to replace it soon, but he was able to fix the leak in the meantime. We've always trusted Scott, with the last company we used and so glad he is with Graysons now. Highly recommend.

Had a blower fan motor replaced and a yearly maintenance done and Grayson is amazing. Allen the tech that did the work was quick, personable and did an amazing job. Highly recommend this company!

I needed to get my duct system replaced, and Grayson AC was very helpful throughout the whole process. They quickly got someone out to give me an estimate, and then followed up to schedule a time to come out.
Lantz, Daniel, and Ethan did the installation. They completed the work in the timeframe estimated, were very nice/professional, and also ensured we had window units cooling us while our AC system was down. I would definitely recommend Grayson’s, and plan to call them for any future needs!

They answered all my questions and even went the extra mile by helping attach an annoying drain pipe, and moving my existing concrete pallet to create a step pad to my shed. Daniel Broadus and Lantz Waters installed a Carrier split unit in my stepdad’s playroom yesterday. They did a fantastic job installing the unit…very quick yet efficient. These guys really know their stuff! The Carrier is amazing! I was so worried about the size and intrusiveness, but it’s much smaller than I imagined and so quiet you’d forget it was there If it weren’t for the much appreciated cooler room!!
