Grayson has excellent customer service. Ben came right in to survey the problem. Ben was courteous and got me cooled off after a well ofproblems with another a/ C company. Chris Pruitt, and Alan Simmons came in and did all of the hard work for me. They were extremely professional and very courteous, and were only concerned with my concerns being a disabled senior in the heat of summer. All three of these gentlemen should be rewarded with some kind of excellence from Grayson air conditioning. If you need an air conditioning company that you can depend on with excellence in their character and professionalism, thank you Grayson, Chris PRUETT, Alan Simmons and Ben. Doug came within 30 minutes of calling Grayson because our a/c unit wasn’t cooling. He diagnosed the issue within minutes and had the issue resolved in less than half an our. The whole thing took less than an hour and a half from the time we called and the time our a/c was working again. Doug is a great guy and cannot thank him enough!!!

Aaron Lee evaluated the a/c problem and presented all options and cost clearly. He did not try to sell something I didn’t need. Chris Pruett, Chris Glen, and Brannon Kennedy were pleasant and courteous. Called before they came at 8am. Not sure they stopped for a break except lunch and worked all day. Cleaned up well and explained the new unit ins and outs before they left. Thank you!

We've had several positive experiences with Grayson. Our most recent was a mini-split installation. Chris G. and Justin H. were professional, on time, and very courteous. They explained everything I needed to know and completely cleaned up the place after the installation. We purchased a new Carrier Infinity HVAC system for our home and the Grayson team, Chris Pruitt, Terry Cox, Dustin Payne, Micah Frazier and Brandt Givens worked all day today in the heat and in the attic removing the old system and installing the new one. As usual, they did a great job and Angie came and cleaned up so you’d never know they were here. Tracy Scarbrough coordinated the whole thing with us to suit our schedule. Couldn’t be happier and is why we’ve used Grayson for many years

I want to thank Grayson for the great service. I called Grayson to check our systems it was not cooling. Aaron Lee arrived and checked the unit and found the evaporator stopped up and the heat exchange rusted out. He informed us and made up several estimates for new unit and explained each one of the to us. After we decided on a system Aaron set it up for them to replace the system. On Friday morning Mattress Gifford, Chris Motes, Logan Woodruff and Brandt Gaven arrived and installed 3 window units to keep us cool while they removed our old system as my wife is on oxygen and has to stay cool.aftef removing the old system they installed the new system with new copper tubing and wiring. It was 106 deg outside and probably 150 are more in the attic but they worked thru it. After the system was up and running they cleaned up and land scape around the new condenser unit. They then explained to us how to use the new thermostat. On the following Thursday Aaron Lee came by to check with us and make sure everything was working correctly. I want to thank the guys on a great job. We have a maintenance plan with Grayson on our home generator also. Thank you Grayson and all your technicians.

My family and I returned from a trip at 7:30 pm on a Sunday and our AC was out. By 9:30 pm, it was back on. Allen C was our tech and he was great! Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!Also had another AC unit installed today by Chris G, Micah F and Justin H. They did an incredible job. Even went and checked out the duct system on our other unit and made a repair without us even asking.

I just had my more than 20 year old central air conditioning and gas furnace replaced with a new upgraded "21st century" variable 5 speed system. After the installation, there was an immediate noticeable difference in the rapid cooling power of the new system (we knew that part). Andrew and Billy (the air techs installing the system) were exceptional, pleasant, and conscientious workers. Outstanding attitudes and ability to quickly and efficiently complete the project. I was happy that they took time answer all my concerns and questions about the new system from start to finish.I could see that these guys care about about the quality of their work. And they payed attention to my family's specific home improvement needs. I am very pleased. And I am looking forward to lower power bills and a comfortable home where my family can live and work. Super job.VanceP.S.earlier this morning (08/28/2023)— our unit was long overdue due for a maintenance checkup. luckily Doug was able to quickly evacuate the condensation lines and restore proper drainage to the main drain line. the unit would have continued functioning because auxiliary drainage lines were installed properly and functioning properly.(i was working off site)the custodial staff here at the residential / home business —reported that Doug was able to access the attic space, assess the problem, fix it and then get out of there. so that we could return to our work organizing our workspace —there are a few issues with functionality and connectivity with the smart remote thermostat but based on recent interactions with their office manager I’m sure we can get up to speed on how to take full advantage of connecting the unit to the internet for 24 hr monitoring capabilities. including installing firmware updates and using the app allowing to change settings remotely.thanks to Doug for his efficiency and good communication. “five star rating“ —-he deserves a double bonus for helping us —esp. considering that we are short staffed.sincerely,vance

Chris P., Terry C., & Brannon K were so professional & it was such a pleasure having them install our new 3.5ton gas furnace even though it made my wallet cry a lot. But my last 23 year old Carrier really lasted a good long time, so I shouldn’t be that upset, it had run it’s course. And Allen C. also did a phenomenal job diagnosing our problem & it was a pleasure working with him as well. I definitely recommend Grayson! Great service! Thanks to the installers for all the hard work in this extreme heat! They installed a new unit. They did a great job. I can not say enough about Aaron L.(Performed Initial visit), Matthew G., Chris M., Logan W., Will (Manager) and Tracy (Office)! The nice lady came behind the guys and cleaned up and she did a good job as well. I apologize I didn't get her name before she left today. So very pleased with every thing that happened today. We have been using Grayson since at least 2011 and have only had great things to say about them. They were punctual, courteous, and made sure to answer all questions. I don’t hesitate to call or refer Grayson for any Air Conditioning issues.

Outstanding company from the initial phone call to the follow up after the estimate. Everyone cares, everyone is doing a great job. Lady on the phone was great, efficient, professional and got a tech out same day. Tyler was the tech and was absolutely wonderful. He was so patient with my mom (in a hot house), answering her every question and showing her pictures of the issues that had previously only been described to her. She was so impressed and grateful. We got a few quotes, and what it came down to for her was the bottom line. She went with the lowest cost quote, which was not really apples to apples due to the equipment used. But that's what my mom wanted. If you are looking for top quality equipment, an extremely well-run company, knowledgeable techs that are going to do the job right - Grayson is a great choice. On top of all that, they make it affordable for anyone with "top of the line" as their most important criteria by offering interest-free financing! (not sure if you have to qualify or what but I was very impressed by that option). Thanks to everyone we dealt with - we appreciate your time!

A technician by the name of Allen came out to my home today(8/4/23) to give us a diagnostic on our a/c unit that wasn't cooling anymore.. Called Shannon Barnhill at Graysons and she was so helpful and told me she would have a technician out that same day. Brandt, Micah, Matthew and Chris were without a doubt awesome. They installed the concrete pad, the generator and made sure all was in order before they left. They made sure we understood the next steps and answered all questions so that we understood. I was out of town on a work trip when my wife called complaining that our A/C was struggling to keep up with the summer heat. I put in a request online for Grayson to come out and assess my system since I wasn’t happy with work performed by previous companies. They called the morning of the next business day and had a tech out that afternoon. Allen C. showed up and did a tremendous job! We were worried we might need extensive work, but Allen was able to take care of us in one service call. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and straightforward. I won’t hesitate to call Grayson for any future issues.

So, Greyson has been servicing my old system for two years. Excellent work keeping it going. They told me it was on its last leg and was time bomb. So, instead, I'm waiting for it to blow up.I went ahead and got the 26 seer carrier system with one night of it operating. It shows a big difference. Keeping up with the heat, humidity, and demand. We like it cold cranked it down to 64F and took the house 84F at 6pm to 64F by 10pm that night. I could easily go with someone else and get the cheapest unit.But I'm super glad I did not. Greyson may seem pricey. But, the quality of the system and work is well worth it. The workers are super friendly and knowledgeable. I do construction but I don't know anything about HVAC systems.Super super pleased and I highly recommend upgrading don't wait for it to blow up.Especially in this heat.Techs, Arron L, Collin G, Chris P, Terry C, Brandt G, and Dustin P.Thanks for great professional installation.

The communication & promptness, truly, was a 10/10 from both Morgan & Tyler! Morgan was so helpful with the information on prices and how a service warranty would benefit us in the future. Theres no doubt we called the best HVAC company around! You can tell they take pride in what they do & they do it well!! From the moment we contacted Graysons, Morgan was more than willing to get someone out here immediately, after hours on a Sunday afternoon. Tyler was quick to call & let us know he was on his way over. There’s nothing that will humble you more than your AC freezing up in the midst of this Alabama summer heat. Both Morgan & Tyler went over & beyond explaining the expenses, what our best options would be & how to prevent it happening in the future. You have to give props to ANYONE, not only willing to climb into an attic in a 2 story house that’s touching 88 degrees, but to work in it as well, getting the problem solved, no matter what it took! We have 2 big dogs & 4 cats that were just absolutely miserable but the compassion that Morgan & Tyler had for every single one of us meant more than they know! Recommend 10/10!!!!

I meant to post this when it happened, but I had Grayson install a new unit for me this summer and I did a great job sometime later on a Sunday was not cooling properly called them. They sent Doug out very quickly. Doug immediately identified a problem turned out to just be simply a breaker overloading, which he fixed in a matter of minutes, and I was very happy with the service he provided

We called last Wednesday saying our house was 89 degrees at 8 pm and we couldn’t handle it anymore. Retired disabled veteran moving back to Alabama. Had constant issues one over another with my local company after having a Carrier Infinity 4 ton installed on a 2,200 square foot rancher. Turned out they just didn't have the equipment or expertise needed....Called Grayson after talking to a retired HVAC friend of mine. Aaron Lee showed up at the house, explained what was wrong and got me back up and running in no time to beat this 103 degree August heat wave. Easy choice. Sate of the Art maintenance equipment and 5 Star technicians that are always professional. Best customer service desk ever. Everyone seems like family. Please folks don't go through what I did.... Chris, Brannon, and Terry came out to install a new HVAC system in my home. Such a Friendly and professional group of guys. Even in 100+ degree heat, these guys were all smiles. They did an excellent job on the install. Everything is done to such a high standard and with a "white glove" treatment. They laid floor coverings in my home and there was no sign they were even here when they left, aside from the new unit installed. Joey (manager) stopped by during the install to say hello and check on progress. After all was said and done, Mrs. Angie came in to make sure everything was clean. Chris Motes and Logan Woodruff came this morning to replace an evaporator coil in one of our heat pump units. I was pleasantly surprised when they called 15 minutes before arriving and then introducing themselves at the front door. Both gentlemen were very polite and courteous during the repair process. My first problem was an A/C breakdown problem the other was a owner operator issue. Just getting around to posting this review—we had some work done in June by Grayson which involved being at our house for three days. Everyone we encountered in the office as well as the workers on the job were great. The project manager even accommodated us when I asked whether his team could take lunch at a specific time so I could take my son to his swim lessons. I knew I would be a strange ask, but he did not hesitate to accommodate us. The workers doing the job in our attic were very friendly and answered allllllllllllll questions I had. I appreciate a job well done as well as great customer service.

My entire a/c unit (yes, both outside and inside) decided this past weekend would be a GREAT time to break down completely -- especially since highs were slated for the upper 90s with no rain in sight. I am heavily involved with animal rescue (especially feral/stray cats & kittens) so I asked members of my group chat who they would recommend and at least 10 of them immediately said Grayson. This was around 10pm Friday evening so I decided to call to try and get on the call out list for Saturday. A very nice technician, his name was Allen, wound up calling me back within 5 minutes offering to still come out that night just to see if he could make it any cooler. I assured him we weren't going to be a quick fix and it could wait until the next day.
Allen was at my house the next afternoon and tried every trick in the trade to get the inside temperature just one degree cooler. After almost two hours I knew it was a lost cause and it was time to talk about replacements, their costs, and a time line; thankfully all of the options were reasonably priced and we went with the one that fit our needs. While Allen was here, though, he got to meet my 5 year-old Great Dane, Khyah and he could tell we were getting very concerned about her health and being unable to cool off. So, not only did Allen get us scheduled for installation in less than 4 days, he was also kind enough to bring over a small window unit specifically for Khyah so she could finally relax!

Allen Cowart is awesome and puppy approved! He competed our yearly service on Friday and super friendly with my pups. I also want to give a HUGE thank you to Aaron Lee! On Sunday our air went out at 2 am! I called the 24 hr line and within 30 minutes I got a call back and by 9am - my AC was fixed!!!Thank you guys both so much! We very much appreciate you!

The communication & promptness, truly, was a 10/10 from both Morgan & Tyler! Morgan was so helpful with the information on prices and how a service warranty would benefit us in the future. Theres no doubt we called the best HVAC company around! You can tell they take pride in what they do & they do it well!! Tyler was super knowledgeable & took his time explaining what was going on when our AC froze up & how we could avoid problems in the future, which was very beneficial with us recently purchasing the home they serviced. Tyler mentioned he was thinking how to get our problem solved the previous night. It’s just the simple fact that he had us on his mind while not being on the clock that showed his true character & made us life long Grayson customers! From the moment we contacted Graysons, Morgan was more than willing to get someone out here immediately, after hours on a Sunday afternoon. Tyler was quick to call & let us know he was on his way over. There’s nothing that will humble you more than your AC freezing up in the midst of this Alabama summer heat. Both Morgan & Tyler went over & beyond explaining the expenses, what our best options would be & how to prevent it happening in the future. You have to give props to ANYONE, not only willing to climb into an attic in a 2 story house that’s touching 88 degrees, but to work in it as well, getting the problem solved, no matter what it took! We have 2 big dogs & 4 cats that were just absolutely miserable but the compassion that Morgan & Tyler had for every single one of us meant more than they know!
